Some very chic Austin ladies met this past Tuesday here in the shop.  Hosted by Michelle Rodriguez and Celeste Quesada of Well Styled as well as Michelle Patterson from IdealHeel and the most beautiful (and delicious!) display of sangria you’ve ever seen from Townhouse (thanks Garrett!), a fabulous time was had by all!  There are so many amazing women in our great city – it’s only right that we all put our heads together and make bigger and better things happen!  We were so happy to host such a wonderful event and look forward to the next one!

Wednesday, August 18th

If you’ve ever wanted to give a personal stylist a go, now is your chance!  Michelle Rodriguez of Well Styled will be hosting FREE 1 hour consultations in the store on Wednesday, August 18th.  There are only so many hours in the day, so space is limited!  Click here to sign up for your free appointment with Michelle and (this is important!) at item #7, select “Other” and enter “Dress Shop.”  Michelle will then notify you of your appointment time.

This is a great opportunity to work with Michelle and Well Styled and we are very excited to host them at Dress Shop!

Sunday, August 15th

We are thrilled to announce the first of our events taking place during Austin Fashion Week:

Fleming’s, the downtown grill that you know and love, will be our gracious host (and provider of an amazing brunch) for our Fall Fashion Show on Sunday, August 15th!

We’ll provide the entertainment- a fashion show featuring brand new looks for fall, which is a 180-degree turn from spring and summer.  Very serious business.  Just thinking about fall fashion makes us long for a crisp autumn day, sharp dresses, plenty of layering pieces and great boots…

The simply irresistible part: we’ll have private shopping, mimosas, and a very special discount only for ticket-holders after the show.

Stay tuned for the fine details (time, ticket price, etc.), but in the meantime, make sure you save the date of August 15th for the Dress Shop Fall Fashion Brunch!

We are so excited that readers of Rare Magazine named Dress Shop one of the Best New Boutiques in Austin for their annual “Rarest of Them All” issue!  We have to admit, we felt a bit out of the loop…  We didn’t know about and certainly didn’t campaign for this (you know we would have come to you first if we did!) and were actually notified by a friend when the issue came out late last week, so we are especially (and very pleasantly!) surprised!  Thank you!
